Healer/Educator of pleasure arts
femme, queer, she/her, they/them
Intuitive. Witchy. Weird. Not necessarily words I would use to always describe myself, but words I try to live up to. Dedicating nearly the last 5 years of my life to this work has been nothing short of extraordinary.
This is where I share my passion about the human body, intimacy, and all the wild things. Oh! And of course sex! It's amazing to me how much there is to know about the human body, sexuality, and the way we dance to our inner erotic music.
We live in a whole new world where human sexuality is standing in the spotlight of life. Everyone is talking about it. Everyone wants to know more about it. We are no longer keeping secrets as we move away from a society that pushed purity culture on its youth. Change is everywhere. We are building new sex ed curriculum for kids and adults alike; sex therapists are no longer taboo, we are more honest about the body; and navigating unconventional relationships are common talk. We are moving towards a more transparent, science-based, fun-filled way of looking at sex and sexuality... and I AM HERE FOR IT.
There has been so much harm in the old ways of doing things. Many of us have experienced shame, embarrassment, confusion, and sometimes even trauma as it relates to our sexual and erotic selves. So what do we do when that happens? How can we unlearn harmful patterns and build sexual agency for ourselves? How do we navigate accountability and forgiveness? Where do we go when we are ready to figure it out?
That's what I hope my work does; gives people the opportunity to untangle themselves from whatever is keeping them from loving the shit out of themselves. Sometimes that might look like soft, nurturing touch with a little bit of Reiki. Or maybe it will look like a surrogacy session. Maybe learning how to connect your breath to your pelvic muscles will help you loosen up. However/whatever 'untangling' looks like, we can do it!
I am currently taking courses to appease the requirements set by AASECT for Sex and Sexuality Educators. Hoping to take this work well beyond my dreams, I am constantly finding parallels to how intimacy goes beyond our bodies. When we learn that we are the source of our pleasure, it is more than just our sex lives that become brighter; everything becomes brighter.
I have never lived in an ashram or traveled the world to become initiated into any formal lineage of tantric healing - but I've been told by a few intuitive healers that I was born a tantrika many times. So let's just roll with it and have fun while we can.
In my spare time: I collect houseplants, eat lots of carbs, adore sugar, and worship the moon. I read science fiction, historical fiction and have a soft spot in my heart for Octavia Butler and Margaret Atwood. I am currently inspired by adrienne mare brown and Bell Hooks. Writing is how I process my emotions and I've been told I'm good at it. Check out my blog for some of my work.
